Pharmacological properties
WOBENZYM is a combination of natural enzymes of plant and animal origin. Entering the body, enzymes are absorbed in the small intestine by resorption of intact molecules and, by binding to transport proteins in the blood, enter the bloodstream. Subsequently, enzymes, migrating along the vascular bed and accumulating in the area of the pathological process, have an immunomodulatory, anti-inflammatory, fibrinolytic, decongestant, antiplatelet and secondary analgesic effect.
WOBENZYM has a positive effect on the course of the inflammatory process, limits the pathological manifestations of autoimmune and immune complex processes, and has a positive effect on the body’s immunological reactivity. Stimulates and regulates the level of functional activity of monocytes-macrophages, natural killer cells, stimulates antitumor immunity, cytotoxic T-lymphocytes, and phagocytic activity of cells.
Under the influence of WOBENZYME, the number of circulating immune complexes decreases and membrane deposits of immune complexes are removed from tissues.
WOBENZYME reduces the infiltration of the interstitium by plasma cells. Increases the elimination of protein debris and fibrin deposits in the area of inflammation, accelerates the lysis of toxic metabolic products and necrotic tissue. Improves the resorption of hematomas and edema, normalizes the permeability of vascular walls.

WOBENZYME reduces the concentration of thromboxane and platelet aggregation. Regulates the adhesion of blood cells, increases the ability of red blood cells to change their shape, regulating their plasticity, normalizes the number of normal discocytes and reduces the total number of activated forms of platelets, normalizes blood viscosity, reduces total quantity microaggregates, thus improving microcirculation and rheological properties of blood, as well as the supply of tissues with oxygen and nutrients.

WOBENZYM reduces the severity side effects associated with taking hormonal drugs (hypercoagulation, etc.).

WOBENZYM normalizes lipid metabolism, reduces the synthesis of endogenous cholesterol, increases the content of high-density lipoproteins, reduces the level of atherogenic lipids, and improves the absorption of polyunsaturated fatty acids.

WOBENZYM increases the concentration of antibiotics in the blood plasma and the site of inflammation, thus increasing the effectiveness of their use. At the same time, enzymes reduce the unwanted side effects of antibiotic therapy (dysbacteriosis), by improving the environment.
WOBENZYME regulates nonspecific defense mechanisms (production of interferons), thereby exhibiting antiviral and antimicrobial effects.

Enzyme therapy in many countries is a separate area of medical science. The need for enzyme therapy arose due to the frequent use of aggressive chemicals. They help cope with the disease, but have a lot of side effects. To reduce the severity of these effects and increase the therapeutic significance of treatment, enzyme-containing drugs are used.

A popular remedy used in almost every branch of medicine is Wobenzym. From European medical societies There are no recommendations for its use. In a number of countries it is offered as a dietary supplement. But the use of this remedy shows good practical results as an auxiliary line of therapy. Wobenzym is used in gynecology, surgery, ophthalmology, pediatrics and other areas of medical practice.

Description

This medicine is a carefully calibrated combination of plant and animal enzymes with proteolytic (targeted protein breakdown) activity. The drug is of natural origin. Its plant and animal components coexist perfectly within one tablet and complement each other’s effect.

A deeply thought-out combination of enzymatic components allows this medicine to be classified in the group of anti-inflammatory and immunomodulatory agents.

Systemic effects of the drug include:

  • Antiaggregant.
  • Fibrinolytic.
  • Immunomodulatory.
  • Decongestant.
  • Secondary analgesic effect.

Thanks to the first action, the ability of platelets to stick together is reduced, and blood clots do not form inside the bloodstream. Fibrinolysis involves the breakdown of the main structure-forming component of blood clots - fibrin. This allows you to fight existing thrombosis.

The active substances of Wobenzym have a multidirectional effect on the biochemistry of organs and tissues of the human body.

How does it work?

Wobenzym is available in tablet form. These are round, convex, brightly colored tablets. Each pill of the drug is covered with a red enteric coating. The shell allows the drug to penetrate the intestines, passing through the aggressive environment of the stomach without damaging its components.

Penetrating through the intestinal wall and binding to antiproteases (transport proteins) in the blood, the components of the drug indirectly participate in many processes:

  1. Regenerative, including in the formation of scars.
  2. In the immune response, converting the reaction from inflammatory to anti-inflammatory.
  3. Affects growth factors and hormones.

Some of the enzymes do not leave the intestines, but are used to improve digestive functions. By normalizing the process of food digestion, not only does the digestibility of proteins, fats and carbohydrate foods improve, but also intestinal microbiocinosis is restored.

The components of Wobenzym can affect the mediator of platelet aggregation (sticking together) (thromboxane). This prevents the formation of blood cells from settling on the walls of blood vessels. The medication reduces the level of active platelets in the blood. This has a positive effect on blood rheology. In addition, the drug is able to improve the plasticity of red blood cells, and therefore the transport of oxygen to tissues.

Thanks to the competent combination of the components that make up the drug, the severity of side effects from the main treatment (including hormones and antibacterial agents) is reduced. To some extent, this medicine can be classified as an antioxidant, because it can prevent fat peroxidation and reduce the level of low-density lipoproteins.

The drug has a wide list of indications, a minimum of side effects and contraindications, and one significant drawback - the price.

Application in gynecology

In gynecological practice, the drug is widely used for the treatment of inflammatory diseases of the reproductive organs, both in the acute period and chronic sluggish conditions. It can be prescribed:

  • To preserve pregnancy in case of threat of self-abortion.
  • In case of recurrent miscarriage in the anamnesis.
  • For endometritis, vaginitis, endocervicitis, adnexitis, salpingoophoritis and salpingitis.
  • For adhesions in the tissues of the uterus and fallopian tubes (for the prevention of infertility).
  • In the postoperative period.
  • As a prevention of side effects during HRT during menopause.

Almost all inflammatory diseases of the uterus and its appendages, in the case of chronicity of the process, are accompanied by adhesive changes in the mucous lining of organs, disruption of the menstrual cycle and reproductive function, including infertility. Adhesive processes owe their origin to long-term infectious and inflammatory processes in the uterus and appendages, which lead to a decrease in local tissue resistance to the effects of adverse factors. As a result of inflammation, tissue trophism deteriorates, swelling develops, and, ultimately, adhesions form.

The drug helps restore blood microcirculation, the functioning of adaptation mechanisms and counteract stress. It normalizes the immune response at the local level, reduces the severity of edema and prevents the adhesive process. Its use in complex therapy can improve the effect of antibacterial treatment and reduce the severity of the side effects of antibiotics. Accordingly, treatment time is reduced and healing processes are accelerated.

The pronounced anti-inflammatory effect of this medicine allows one to accelerate the course of reparative processes, thanks to which specialists are able to preserve reproductive function in young patients after interventions on the female genital organs. As an adjuvant, Wobenzym can be prescribed for endometriosis.

Treatment with this remedy can last from 2 weeks (as a prevention of side effects of antibacterial therapy) to a year (for the treatment of serious adhesive changes). The duration of the course of therapy is prescribed by the doctor. The dose of the drug is also recommended by the attending physician.

According to the official annotation, the drug can be prescribed in quantities from 3 to 10 tablets per dose (depending on the diagnosis). Take the medicine three times a day.

Contraindications and side effects

Considering the natural origin of the product, it is not surprising that it is well tolerated by patients. With a long course of treatment, addiction does not develop to it; after cessation of use, no cases of withdrawal syndrome have been recorded.

In rare cases, an allergic reaction (urticaria) is possible, which goes away after reducing the dose of the medication. However, doctors usually warn patients that if any negative reaction develops, even not described in the instructions, they need to stop taking the drug and contact the specialist who prescribed it.

The drug is not prescribed if there is intolerance to any of its components and at the time of hemodialysis. Wobenzym is not approved for use in early childhood(up to 5 years). As an antiplatelet drug, the drug is contraindicated in persons with increased bleeding (hemophilia or thrombocytopenia).

Additional information

Wobenzym is an over-the-counter drug that can be freely purchased at any pharmacy. However, the instructions for use of the medicine do not recommend using it for self-medication.

Some important treatment features:

  1. At the beginning of the therapeutic course, the patient may experience increased symptoms of the disease. In this case, you need to consult a doctor. Usually the drug is not discontinued, the dose is simply reduced. This is enough to normalize the patient’s well-being.

  2. In the treatment of inflammatory diseases of the pelvic organs, Wobensin cannot replace basic therapy (antibiotics, drugs to restore vaginal biocinosis). It is only a means of accelerating recovery and preventing adhesions.
  3. The drug is not a doping drug, does not conflict with other medications, and the official annotation does not report anything about cases of its overdose.
  4. The medicine is approved for use by persons performing responsible work that requires increased attention and high reaction speed (for example, drivers).

During the period of bearing a baby and when feeding it with mother's milk, Wobenzym is not prohibited for use. But it must be prescribed carefully and taken under medical supervision.

Reviews

For prostatitis, it relieves swelling no worse than smartprost. The pain goes away in a matter of days. But in terms of money, you still need to calculate what is more profitable, of course.

Trichomonas colpitis is an infectious inflammation of the mucous membranes of the vagina and urinary tract. The course of treatment is prescribed various drugs, including Wobenzym, which is often used to improve the body’s immune response, for greater treatment effectiveness, to reduce side effects from antibiotics and for other indications. Treatment should be carried out under the supervision and instructions of a gynecologist, who determines the treatment tactics and the drugs used.

Hello, can you tell me whether the drug can be used for trichomonas colpitis?

I drank it myself for diseases (viral and gynecological) as an additional supplement. course to antibiotics. The doctor ordered it that way. I took all the medications only according to the instructions, and Wobenzym always helped. I had no side effects. I didn’t feel sick and there were no problems with the gastrointestinal tract. I think this is because I strictly followed the instructions. I can recommend this drug because it has helped me personally.

I took the course for six months after surgery to remove an ovarian cyst. At first I drank it together with antibiotics, to neutralize the consequences, and at the same time as a prophylaxis against adhesions, and then separately, just to strengthen the whole body. The recovery was quick and easy, and the cysts did not appear again. I think Wobenzym helped.

I was prescribed Wobenzym after a diagnostic curettage, just so that the endometrium would recover better, the doctor said that Wobenzym speeds up the processes. Thin endometrium is of course not very critical, but the egg will be implanted there, so it’s better to restore it to be on the safe side

She treated acute cestitis with cranberry juice, conephron and Wobenzym in combination. Then after the main treatment I took Wobenzym for 2 weeks so that there would be no relapse. Everything together helped.

We found uterine fibroids. I was very afraid that I would have to remove it surgically. The doctor said that it is not big, you can try to remove it with medication. I took Wobenzym for 2 months and was no longer present at the repeat ultrasound. My joy knew no bounds.

The gynecologist prescribed this drug a month ago. I conscientiously drank it every day. Now according to the tests everything is fine. My diagnosis was cervicitis.

I have cysts on the ovaries, and there is some kind of liquid in the tube. Three months ago they removed a cyst from the left ovary, and now it’s on the right again, I don’t know what to do. I am 36 years old, I have never been pregnant, we really want to, but it doesn’t work out. The ovaries have already been operated on three times, a cyst appears on the left or on the right

Wobenzym tablets, instructions for use

As a rule, the dosage regimen, as well as the duration of treatment, is determined individually, taking into account the disease itself, its severity, as well as all internal and external factors affecting the patient’s condition.

For adult patients, the range of single doses of the drug, depending on the pathology, its severity and activity, is 3-10 tablets with a mandatory dose of three times a day. Usually, during the first three days of therapy, they resort to taking 3 tablets three times every 24 hours. The further number of tablets taken at one time may vary, while the frequency of their intake per day in all cases remains unchanged (3 times every 24 hours).

At moderate painful conditions Prescribe 5-7 tablets three times a day for 14 days. In the future, they switch to taking 3-5 tablets with the same frequency of administration. General course treatment - approximately 30 days.

At chronic pathologies Wobenzym tablets are recommended to be taken according to indications and observed symptoms, in courses from 3 to 6 months.

To potentiate the effectiveness of the carried out antibiotic therapy and prevention of formation dysbacteriosis It is recommended to take 5 tablets three times a day throughout the entire course of use. For the purpose of treating dysbacteriosis that arose after antibiotic therapy, Prescribe 3 tablets three times every 24 hours for 14 days.

Taking into account some similarity in the composition of drugs and the distribution of their effects on the human body, we can distinguish two analogue drugs - Wobe-mugos E And .

The price of Wobenzym analogues (40 tablets) (using the example of these two drugs that are closest in action) is slightly higher than Phlogenzyma – 950 rubles and much higher for Wobe-mugos E – 2900 rubles, for the same number of tablets.

For children

Wobenzym can be prescribed to children who have reached the age of 5 years. At the age of 5-12 years, the dosage of the drug is calculated per kilogram of weight (1 tablet per 6 kilograms).

With alcohol

It should be noted right away that in case of any pathology, taking any medications, and even against the background of complete health, alcohol, especially in large quantities, cannot benefit the human body. When considering the compatibility of Wobenzym treatment with the intake of alcoholic beverages, one should also take into account the fact that this drug itself is prescribed quite rarely, but is mainly part of the complex treatment of certain diseases, which indicates the variety of possible effects of complex therapy on the body as a whole. and on its individual organs and systems. For example, when used in combination with antibiotics , antiviral drugs , chemotherapy Drinking alcohol is strictly prohibited, and even with other combinations of drugs, its use is undesirable and in best case scenario may lead to decrease in efficiency therapy, and at worst cause various severe complications . Another area of application of the drug is treatment withdrawal syndrome and in this case, Wobenzym and alcohol are compatible in the same way as the very concepts of benefit and harm.

Wobenzym during pregnancy and lactation

The list of contraindications for the use of Wobenzym does not include: , so and . Moreover, during pregnancy, women are even recommended to take it for prevention of miscarriage, starting from the second trimester, where the effect of the drug receives positive reviews. During pregnancy, the calculation of the dosage and duration of taking the tablets is determined individually, taking into account general condition the expectant mother, fetal health indicators and the course of the pregnancy itself.

Reviews of Wobenzyme

Reviews about Wobenzyme on forums, as well as reviews from doctors about Wobenzyme, are quite contradictory and often lead to serious disputes among specialists and patients about the effectiveness, usefulness and safety of using this drug. The opinions of many doctors and people who have ever taken this drug differ radically on this matter, and when some claim that for them complex treatment with the inclusion of Wobenzym was much more effective and safer than without it, others immediately find many arguments against and declare the complete uselessness of this drug.

For example, some nutritionists advise taking Wobenzym for weight loss in combination with exercise physical education and explain this by the ability of the drug to normalization of the function of the gastrointestinal tract and them microflora . Some patients who have undergone this course of diet therapy remain satisfied with its results and leave positive reviews about Wobenzym. The other part, which does not notice any special changes in body weight, naturally attributes the negative result to Wobenzym.

Reviews of the drug in gynecology for ; at mastopathy , endometritis , vulvovaginitis , gestosis , cervicia ; diseases of sexual etiology ( chlamydia , mycoplasmosis , ureaplasmosis ), as well as reviews of Wobenzyme at pregnancy mostly positive, but even here there are those who see in this only a coincidence of circumstances and the effect of other medications taken at the same time.

In the current situation, it is not possible to draw any definite conclusions and therefore we can only advise you to rely on the opinion of your attending physician, especially if you trust him not only as a good specialist, but also as simply a decent person.

Reviews

I tolerate antibiotics very poorly; stomatitis on the mucous membranes usually increases. That is, you get sick and you can’t even put anything in your mouth, it’s all sores and it hurts. The doctor prescribed Wobenzym for better acceptance of the antibiotic. Indeed, there was no stomatitis, she tolerated the medications well and recovered quite quickly. Now I will know if I suddenly have to take antibiotics again.

My husband suffered for a long time with chronic prostatitis, different doctors gave different treatments. But only with the introduction of Wobenzym into treatment was it possible to cure this chronic condition. The course is expensive and lengthy, but the man’s health and family well-being are worth the money.

I was treated for endometriosis for a long time; doctors prescribed one treatment or another. The effect appeared when a course of Wobenzym was prescribed. The doctor said that it kind of stimulates the treatment, helps and speeds it up. The drug is natural, so there was no addiction, although it took a long time to take.

Before (and after) small gynecological surgery I started taking Wobenzym to prevent the appearance of adhesions. And then I also drank it, as it helps the body recover faster. The gynecologist was pleased with his result.

Wobenzym was prescribed to me after a gynecological operation so that the tissue would be restored better and adhesions would not form; the enzymatic composition was very well selected. The drug helped - everything healed quickly and without consequences

I took it 2 times, very satisfied. The first time I was discharged after surgery so that adhesions would not form, the second time I was treated for thrush, the doctor recommended Wobenzym to enhance the effect of antifungal drugs and boost immunity so that it would not recur.

We couldn't conceive a child for 2 years. We were already thinking about going for IVF. And then I went to another gynecologist and it turned out that I simply had adhesions in my tubes after inflammation. The doctor immediately prescribed Wobenzym for the resorption of pathological tissues and prescribed a course of electrophoresis with enzymes. And already 3 months after treatment I became pregnant!

Wobenzym was taken for two months after giving birth to speed up the body's recovery process. I really recovered quickly; after a month at the examination they said that all the stitches from the tears had almost completely healed. Maybe, of course, it’s just my natural feature that tissues are restored so quickly and wounds heal (although I haven’t noticed this before), but I can say for sure that Wobenzym has strengthened my immunity. I gave birth in October, now it’s June, and during all this time I have never caught a cold, I haven’t even had a slight runny nose, can you imagine?! Although earlier the snot flowed immediately as soon as the breeze blew. So it definitely works as an immunostimulant.

This drug was prescribed by a gynecologist after laparoscopy. She explained to me that Wobenzym inflammatory processes good remedy and will boost your immunity at the same time. I drank it for one month. Luckily for me, no new adhesions formed. Yes, and the blood test showed good results- the inflammation went away quickly.

Wobenzym is a universal drug. I drink it when I'm sick viral diseases- to boost immunity. I also parted with thrush thanks to him. There have been no thrush for several years now, but before it used to constantly come out and give me a bunch of discomfort and discomfort. I think women who have experienced this will understand me. In general, I recommend it to all representatives of the fair sex.

Wobenzym is a godsend for me. Its enzymes improve the functioning of the entire body. I periodically take a course of Wobenzym and feel great. The first time it was prescribed to me by a gynecologist for inflammation of the appendages. When I started taking it, the pain in the lower abdomen immediately went away, apparently it also has an analgesic effect.
