Step 1.

Fill a glass (or any container convenient for you) with PVA glue (100g or 200g), after shaking the jar of glue.

Step 2.

Add a little dye to the container with glue (the main thing here is not to overdo it, otherwise your hands will get dirty). Mix thoroughly until a homogeneous mass of the desired color is achieved.

Step 3.

Add borax solution little by little (1-2 bottles). You don’t have to spare the borax, otherwise the slime will turn out liquid and will stick to everything.

If you use 100g of glue, then 1 bottle of sodium tetraborate will be enough. Mix the whole mass thoroughly. The result is a jelly-like, thick mass.

* If you have borax in powder form, take 1 tablespoon and dissolve it in a container with a glass of water at room temperature.

Step 4.

Carefully transfer the mixture to a napkin to get rid of excess moisture. By the way, it is better to keep such a toy on paper, so it will collect less lint.

Place the mixture in a bag and knead (like plasticine) for about 5 minutes. We take it out.

Toothpaste - about a teaspoon;

Usually transparent slime is made from transparent silicate glue. If you want the slime to be more liquid, at the first stage the glue must be further diluted with water. But you don’t have to dilute it - the slime will turn out more elastic, as in the above version. In this example, borax is used as a thickener; this is the same sodium tetraborate, but in dry form; before use, it must be diluted with water (1 tablespoon of powder per 50 ml of water). You can also use a ready-made solution of sodium tetraborate.

You will need:

Silicate glue;

Sodium tetraborate solution;

- container and spoon/stick for mixing;

If desired, small glitter (you need small glitter, otherwise it won’t be very convenient to play with the slime, its structure will be disrupted) and dye.

Sequence of work:

Pour glue into the container. If you need liquid slime, add water and mix. Add sodium tetraborate and mix. Add a little at a time until the mixture reaches the desired consistency. Mix in a container and then with your hands. Now you can add dye by mixing it into the slime. Then the slime must be returned to the container and, sprinkled with glitter and covered with a lid, left for 2-3 days. During this time, all the air bubbles will come out of the slime and it will become perfectly transparent.

Two simple slime recipes without pharmaceutical ingredients

If you don’t want to go to the pharmacy, but have shower gel and starch or children’s airy plasticine on hand, you can make slime using one of the simple recipes.

Simple recipe 1: slime / lizun from shampoo and starch

The slime turns out to be quite dense and elastic, matte, velvety, and pleasant to the touch. It's good to make something out of it. This slime is not very durable: the starch hardens and the slime dries out, losing elasticity - even in a closed container.

Starch (any) - about 2-3 tablespoons;

Pour shampoo into the container, add dye if necessary, and mix. We begin to add starch and mix. Add starch and mix until you get the desired consistency. If you get a lot of starch, no problem, add more shampoo. You need to knead the slime well so that it stops sticking to the walls of the dish, and then knead it with your hands.

Simple recipe 2: slime / lizun from shampoo and air plasticine

Unlike the previous one, this slime is more durable. If it is stored in a closed container or film, it hardly dries out and retains its properties for a long time.

Air plasticine looks like this.

You will need:

Shampoo, shower gel, liquid soap - 1.5−2 teaspoons;

Airy (aka light) plasticine (sold in toy stores, etc.) - 1 bag.

Sequence of work:

Airy plasticine itself is very plastic, but mixed with shampoo it takes on new properties. It can be smeared on the surface and then easily collected, stretched, wrinkled, and so on. How to make slime from sodium tetraborate at home

This substance can be easily purchased at any pharmacy. It is also called burat, which allows you to soften the toy. To create slime will be required:

1/2 tsp. sodium tetraborate;
30 g PVA glue (it is recommended to use transparent);
2 containers;
300 ml warm water;
optional cooking coloring.

All the process looks like this:

A glass of water is poured into one of the containers, into which the burat is gradually poured, stirring constantly.
Pour 1/2 cup of water into the second container and add glue.
If dye is used in production, it is added to the diluted glue. For intense color, it is recommended to use 5-7 drops. You can also experiment with the range, for example adding 3 drops of green and 4 drops of yellow.

There is another recipe based on sodium tetraborate. But in this case, you still need polyvinyl alcohol powder. The whole job is as follows:

Powdered alcohol is boiled over fire for 40 minutes. On the label there is detailed instructions about its preparation (it may differ slightly for each manufacturer). The main thing is to constantly stir the mixture in order to form a homogeneous mass and prevent it from burning.
2 tbsp. sodium tetraborate is mixed with 250 ml of warm water. The mixture is stirred until the powder is completely dissolved. Next, it is filtered through fine gauze.
The purified solution is slowly poured into the alcohol mixture and stirred thoroughly. The mass will gradually thicken.
At this stage, add 5 drops of dye to give the slime a bright color. But gouache will not give an intense shade, so it is better to use food coloring.

Important! Sodium tetraborate is quite toxic. Therefore, the main task of parents is to control that the baby does not put the handgam in his mouth. If this happens, then you need to rinse the child’s mouth and it is advisable to cleanse the stomach. And also in urgently consult a doctor!

Starch slime

If you can’t buy sodium tetraborate or just want to make a safer version of slime, then a recipe with starch easily solves this problem. Perhaps every mother has in her kitchen:

borax – 1.5 tsp;
office glue;

Making slime at home from detergent

A recipe has already been presented above, which included a detergent. But there is another way to use this ingredient in making slime.

Components:

detergent – 1 tbsp;
soda – 1 tsp;
hand cream – 1/2 tbsp;
optional food coloring of the desired color.

Manufacturing:

Pour detergent into a glass container and add soda, after which everything is thoroughly mixed. Stir until the mixture does not foam, but gradually acquires a thicker consistency. If it feels too thick, then dilute it with water - pour in a teaspoon at a time.
